Sweater Blanket - Grey

The Sweater-Blanket is a timeless model, designed and made in Iceland from Icelandic machine-knitted pure Icelandic wool. It is intended for both men and women alike and is suitable for any age-group. The Sweater- Blanket has sleeves and a cozy hood and is closed at the bottom to cover the feet.

It changes easily into a sweater with the use of loops at the bottom that fasten onto buttons on the inside. We designed he pattern around the shoulders in a style reminicent of the classic Icelandic sweater. The buttons used are made of natural materials, horn and bone.

The Sweater-Blanket keeps you warm from top to toe. You can use it while travelling by plane, bus or train, on a camping-trip or in the sofa at home. The sleeves enable you to eat, read or work at your computer without a chilling draft and the hood gives you a bit of privacy when you want to rest. The hood also has another purpose, for it changes into a handy carrier-bag or a cozy pillow. Just roll up the Sweater-Blanket into the hood and use the string to pull it together.

It comes in two sizes, S/M for persons up to about 170 cm (5 feet 7 in), and L/XL for those up to about 195 cm (6 feet 5 in) tall.

Washing instructions:
Please note that wool does not require frequent washing, a good airing is often sufficient. Wash by hand in luke-warm water (30°C), using special wool detergent. Do not leave in soapy water for longer than 10 minutes before rinsing carefully. Squeeze out exess water without wringing or stretching. The garment can then be centrifuged for about ½ minute. Flatten the garment into shape to dry on a towel.
