Shopicelandic ehf. operates in accordance with Icelandic law and regulations and is therefore subject to Icelandic jurisdiction in the event that disputes may arise. The following applies only to Shopicelandic.is website and not to any other website that may be linked or connected to Shopicelandic.is.
Shopicelandic.is accepts your order when receiving payment confirmation. Immediately upon receipt of payment we send you confirmation email and thereby a legal contract is established between you and Shopicelandic.is.

Security
Shopicelandic.is uses the best possible security for our costumers. Payments from all major credit cards and via PayPal are accepted.  In the last step of our checkout, customers with credit cards are transferred to Valitor or PayPal secure site, depending on their choice. Valitor is an Icelandic credit card company that andles all our credit card authorization and transactions. All credit card transaction goes through secure encryption payment gateway.  Valitor is PCI Certified, which means that the systems and operations are compliant with the extensive security requirements of the PCI Standard.

Under no circumstances can Shopicelandic see or store customer’s credit card information.  By transferring customers to Valitor secure site, all credit card information is handled within Valitor and their secure system.  Shopicelandic only receives confirmation for payment along with customer’s name and order number from Valitor.

Privacy Policy
Shopicelandic.is will never give or sell any personal information about its costumers to any unaffiliated third parties, persons or companies (unless court ordered).

Customers give us their personal information and shipping address on voluntary basis. This information is kept secure by Shopicelandic and only used in a legal and ethical manner.  This information will help us to inform you about new arrivals, discounts and for electronic newsletter.  If you wish to remove your information from our database, please send us email with “Remove” in header.

Prices and Taxes
All prices in Shopicelandic.is store are shown in Euros (€) and without VAT.  No tax will be added during checkout for international orders (export).  To products shipped within Iceland a 25,5% VAT. (vsk.) will be added.
Prices are subject to change without notice.

We recommend that you use modern web browser such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.  It is possible that you might experience difficulties using other browsers.

Please note that we do our best to display high quality photos of products in our store.  However, with every computer and display different from other, we cannot guarantee that they show perfect accuracy in colors as they appear on your display.
